MUNICIPAL ORDER# 2026-05
A MUNICIPAL ORDER OF THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA, IN CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY, DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING DISPOSAL OF ALEXANDRIA POLICE DEPARTMENT VEHICLE BY AUCTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Alexandria Police Department obtained personal property to be used for special operation of the police department through the US Military Program called DRMO LESO; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to dispose of personal property because it is no longer needed usable and maximum value can only be obtained through sale; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council have determined the police department vehicle as surplus to be sold via public auction on GovDeals.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA, IN CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY THAT:
SECTION 1. The following property is hereby declared surplus 1991 Hummer (VIN:123826)
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to sell the aforementioned property in accordance with KRS 82.083(4)(d) via online auction on GovDeals.
This Municipal Order was read, passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Alexandria, Campbell County, Kentucky, meeting in Regular Session on the 16th day of April 2026, with _6___ yes votes, _0___ no votes, and _0___ abstentions, and was duly approved by the Mayor.
